Reports
Counter activity report
A manager’s view of the counter’s recorded sales and approved whole-cash returns for one period. The report aggregates the original sale and return evidence for the active store, so the totals stay tied to the records behind them.
The period
Choose one clear stretch of time.
The report runs for the active store and one explicit start and end date. Both dates are included, up to 31 calendar days. Use the existing store switcher first; the report does not combine stores or carry totals from an earlier run.
The day boundaries follow the store’s configured time zone. If none is set, the report uses UTC and labels the basis clearly.
That makes the report useful after a busy weekend, at month-end, or whenever a manager needs to review a specific stretch of counter activity.
The sales
Cash and recorded external card, side by side.
Completed checkout sales are grouped into cash and recorded external card. Each group shows the count, saved total, saved tax, saved cash rounding, gross tendered and change.
The report aggregates those recorded amounts. Saved tax and cash rounding are read from the original sale; they are not recalculated today.
After a busy weekend, a manager can compare the two tender groups without opening individual receipts.
An external card figure is the tender recorded at the sale, not a card processor settlement.
The returns
See the cash sale/return net.
Approved whole-cash returns are subtracted from the recorded cash sale total to show the cash sale/return net. The all-tender net after cash returns is shown separately.
At month-end, a manager can review what came back against what was recorded while the original return and refund records stay attached to the sale.
The report includes approved whole-cash returns whose full refund evidence still matches the original records.
The result
Take the same result with you.
The CSV is generated from the same result on screen. It carries the same period, store, currency, completeness and totals, so the file matches the page.
Use it in the manager file or send it to the accountant with the period’s records. Owners, administrators and managers can read the report; the totals are aggregate-only and do not expose customer names or a receipt browser.
What it means
Recorded counter activity.
These are recorded counter totals in USD. They are not a bank balance, profit and loss statement, processor statement, accounting ledger or tax filing. The report shows what was recorded for the selected period, not what is in the bank.
Use it to review the counter, compare the tender groups, follow approved cash returns and keep a period’s CSV with the rest of the store records.
