For coin & bullion dealers

Spot is only
the starting point.

A bullion bar and a certified collectible can share a metal without sharing a price model. The records need to make that distinction.

This is planned specialist scope.

Troctolite does not yet provide a complete coin-and-bullion production workflow. The current app is centered on gold estimates and basic item records. The public preview includes an editable silver example; it is not a multi-metal price service.

This page sets out the requirements being built toward so you can assess fit early, especially if bullion or numismatic inventory makes up most of your business.

Keep bullion and collectibles distinct.

A generic item note can capture a starting description. It cannot replace validated fields, premium logic, certificate lookup or quantity-and-lot accounting.

Bring a mixed test tray.

  1. A standard bullion product.

Test fine content, quantity, premium and the metal quote used on both the buying and selling side.

  2. A fractional or unusual weight.

Check unit conversion and rounding. Ask how a partial lot changes cost and available quantity.

  3. A certified collectible.

Check that grade and certification remain searchable and cannot disappear into a generic metal estimate.

  4. A return or correction.

Ask how the original cost, sale, stock quantity and reason remain connected after the correction.

These are acceptance targets, not a list of completed Troctolite integrations.

Compare the established baseline.

Bravo publishes dedicated coin-and-bullion functionality, including multiple metal spots, grading and certification details, item history and commerce connections. Those are material requirements for a competitor to meet.

Read Bravo’s coin-and-bullion product description ↗ and the current comparison. If those functions are essential today, evaluate their real behavior before committing to a move.
